Huawei South Africa, in partnership with Henley Business School Africa, has successfully concluded the fourth edition of its Women in Tech Digital Skills Training Programme. The program, which empowers women entrepreneurs and senior government leaders, continues to contribute to inclusive growth in South Africa’s fast-evolving digital economy.
Since its launch in 2021, the Huawei Women in Tech initiative has transformed into a powerful incubator, equipping over 300 women with essential leadership tools and the latest digital expertise. This year’s graduating class included business owners and senior officials from key government departments such as the Department of Employment and Labour (DoEL), Department of Small Business Development (DSBD), and Department of Digital Technologies (DCDT).
The program’s objective is clear: empower women not only to participate in but also to lead South Africa’s digital transformation journey. By combining practical leadership training with exposure to cutting-edge technology, the initiative ensures women can excel as pioneers in the digital world.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2W6cFg2rWp4
