Introduction

The Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2, released in August 2020, is a budget-friendly tablet designed for users seeking a reliable device for multimedia consumption, light productivity, and basic everyday tasks. Featuring a 10.1-inch display, a Kirin 710A chipset, and a 5100mAh battery, this tablet is perfect for students, casual users, and those on a tight budget.

Design and Build

Weighing 450g and measuring 240.2 x 159 x 7.9 mm, the Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2 is lightweight and easy to carry. The tablet offers a sleek design with thin bezels, providing a modern look. It comes in Gold and Dark Blue, offering stylish options for users. The tablet also supports a stylus, adding extra functionality for note-taking and drawing.

Display

The Enjoy Tablet 2 sports a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. With a pixel density of 224 ppi, the display is adequate for watching videos, reading, and web browsing. It also offers a decent screen-to-body ratio of 77.4%, making it visually appealing for a device in this price range.

Performance

Powered by the Kirin 710A chipset (14 nm) and an octa-core CPU (4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.7 GHz Cortex-A53), the Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2 is capable of handling light to moderate tasks. The tablet is equipped with 4GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking for basic activities like browsing, streaming, and document editing. However, it may struggle with heavy applications or demanding games.

The tablet is available in 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants, both expandable via microSDXC, allowing for additional space for media files and applications.

Camera

The tablet comes with a 5 MP rear camera that supports HDR and panorama modes, as well as 1080p video recording. While not intended for professional photography, it serves basic needs such as document scanning and casual photos. The 2 MP front camera is adequate for video calls but offers minimal performance for selfies.

Battery Life

A 5100mAh Li-Po battery powers the Huawei Enjoy Tablet 2, providing enough endurance for a full day of casual use. The tablet supports 10W wired charging, which is relatively slow by today’s standards but manageable for its price range.

Connectivity and Features

The Enjoy Tablet 2 supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. The tablet lacks cellular connectivity, making it ideal for Wi-Fi users. Other features include stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon, which deliver decent audio for media consumption.

It includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing users to connect wired headphones, a feature that is becoming increasingly rare in modern tablets.
