Huawei has launched a special Lunar New Year edition of its Huawei Wireless Mouse Slim Vegan Leather. This new variant comes in a bold dark red color—inspired by the Year of the Horse. It also features two Chinese characters: “prosperity” and “wealth.” Huawei says these symbols bring good fortune with every click.
Unlike the standard Silver and Gray models, this version uses soft vegan leather. The brand claims it offers a “warm and moisturizing feel to the skin.” A golden HUAWEI logo sits on the bottom. The scroll wheel connects to a small red button, alongside the usual left and right clicks.
Huawei states: “It includes both a pleasant feel and good fortune. A click brings good luck.” The design mixes comfort, tradition, and modern style—perfect for Lunar New Year.
The Huawei Wireless Mouse Slim Vegan Leather is lighter and more compact than earlier models. It measures just 106.6 x 60 x 26.9 mm. It also supports NearLink technology. This lets users connect up to three devices at once—without lag or switching hassle.
For comparison, the Premium Edition measures 107.56 x 60.93 x 29.40 mm and weighs 55.9 grams. It runs on one AA battery with up to 12 months of life. The Vegan Leather model keeps a similar shape but focuses on festive appeal.
This special edition is only available on JD.com. It costs 169 yuan (about $23). Sales start tomorrow. Given its limited release and symbolic design, it could make a meaningful Lunar New Year gift.
