Huawei Expands In-Car Experience with New Anghami and Nabd Partnerships
Huawei is pushing the boundaries of connected car technology by joining forces with Anghami and Nabd to deliver premium music and news services directly to vehicle dashboards. Announced at the Huawei Developer Conference 2025, these new partnerships enhance HMS for Car, Huawei’s smart in-car content platform.
Through strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), Huawei aims to create a personalized infotainment experience tailored to drivers and passengers across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Anghami Brings the Beat to Huawei’s Smart Car Ecosystem
Anghami, the region’s leading music streaming platform, is now integrated into HMS for Car. With over 57 million tracks, the partnership allows drivers to access a vast library of localized music while on the road. Anghami and Huawei’s relationship began in 2020, evolving through multiple app integrations including smartwatches like the HUAWEI WATCH 5.
“This collaboration delivers a curated in-car music environment tuned to regional tastes,” said an Anghami representative.
This move positions Anghami to expand its audience while helping Huawei redefine in-car audio experiences.
Nabd Delivers Real-Time News to the Dashboard
Huawei has also partnered with Nabd, a top Arabic news aggregator boasting 32 million global users. Known for its customizable Arabic content, Nabd offers live news, football scores, stock updates, and weather forecasts.
With its integration into HMS for Car, Nabd will provide up-to-the-minute headlines and infotainment via an intuitive car-friendly interface. The news platform has collaborated with Huawei since 2021, leveraging HMS media kits and the AppGallery to reach broader audiences.
What’s New in HMS for Car?
Huawei showcased the HMS for Car MAAN 4.0 at the event — an upgrade that lets web-based apps perform as smoothly as native ones. Combined with Huawei’s new App Box tool, partners like Anghami and Nabd can now offer seamless high-quality experiences in connected vehicles.
This positions Huawei’s HMS for Car as a serious contender in the global automotive tech space, competing with systems from Apple, Google, and others.
What’s Next for Huawei in the Smart Car Space?
Huawei plans to expand its ecosystem through further collaborations with regional and international content providers, aiming to deliver immersive, AI-powered driving experiences.
The partnerships align with a growing global trend toward in-car personalization, as automakers seek to offer more than just transportation — but intelligent mobility powered by real-time content and interactive entertainment.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBZ0WNzt2OY
