Huawei Watch GT 6 Coming in Two Variants with Plenty of Color Options

Huawei is reportedly preparing to launch its next-generation smartwatch series — the Huawei Watch GT 6 — later this year. The news, which surfaced through a post by reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, suggests that Huawei will unveil the Watch GT 6 lineup during its fall product event, likely scheduled for September or October 2025, possibly alongside the highly anticipated Mate XT 2.

Two Sizes: 41mm and 46mm

Much like its predecessor, the Watch GT 5, the new GT 6 will be available in two case sizes: 41mm and 46mm. These sizes cater to different wrist sizes and aesthetic preferences, continuing Huawei’s tradition of offering flexibility in its smartwatch lineup.

  • 41mm variant (codename: Kinsu):
Expected to be available in gold, purple, brown, white, and black.
  • 46mm variant (codename: Atum):
Anticipated to come in gray, brown, silver, titanium, green, and black options.

💡 While these color mentions may initially refer to watch body finishes, it’s also possible they pertain to strap colors — something that remains unclear at this early stage.

Expected Design and Features

Huawei has maintained a consistent aesthetic and design language with its Watch GT series. Therefore, significant design overhauls aren’t expected with the GT 6. Instead, Huawei may focus on refining internal features like:

  • Enhanced health tracking sensors
  • Longer battery life
  • More workout modes
  • Improved HarmonyOS integration

Given the competition from Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi in the wearables space, Huawei may also include more advanced health metrics or AI-driven coaching tools to keep pace.

Fall Launch Anticipated

If Digital Chat Station’s leak proves accurate, we can expect a full reveal in early fall, aligning with Huawei’s traditional release cadence. The Watch GT 6 series could debut alongside other flagship devices like the Mate XT 2, offering a cohesive lineup for the holiday shopping season.

With a wide range of color options and a return of the popular dual-size approach, the Huawei Watch GT 6 series is shaping up to be another strong contender in the global smartwatch market. More details are likely to emerge as we approach the official launch window.

Stay tuned for updates as more specifications and pricing information become available.
